Begin your day early with a departure to Guadalupe Station to catch the Pasig River Ferry departing at 0900h. On the twin-hulled, double-engine passenger boat, find a good spot to enjoy the scenic views of the cities and municipalities along the riverbank. The Pasig River, stretching 25 kilometers, was once the economic heart and lifeline of Manilenos during the Spanish era. Historically, the prominent cities of Tondo, Maynila, and Namayan flourished along its banks, drawing wealth from its waters. The Spaniards built the walled city of Intramuros on the southern bank near the river's mouth, while Malacanang Palace, the official residence of the President of the Philippines, stands on the northern bank.

As you cruise, pass gleaming skyscrapers mixed in with more humble structures. You might spot children diving into the river from makeshift platforms under bridges, elderly folks relaxing in pocket gardens, fishermen casting their lines, and impromptu basketball games played in the sun.

Disembark at Plaza Mexico Station, a short walk from Fort Santiago. Stroll along the ramparts of Fort Santiago, reliving historical moments, then hop on a bamboo bike for a 1.5-hour tour of Intramuros.

Today, enjoy an unforgettable experience: snorkeling with dugongs, also known as seacows. This tour takes you to Dugong Bay in northern Busuanga, a picturesque area dotted with islands and home to over 30 dugongs--the largest family of seacows in the Philippines. Upon arrival at Calauit Island, we are joined by a native Tagbanua guide. This is important as the dugong habitat falls within the territory of the Tagbanua people, who, through tradition and spiritual beliefs, share a special connection with these gentle creatures.

Navigate the coast of Calauit for approximately 30 minutes before reaching the known sanctuary for dugongs. Here, patiently wait for the dugongs to surface before quietly entering the water, equipped with snorkels and masks, and guided by our Tagbanua and Tribal Adventures' guide. We maintain a respectful distance from the dugongs, allowing them to interact with us on their own terms. These magnificent creatures, comparable in size to mature cows, often display curiosity towards us, making for an engaging encounter.

A picnic lunch and snacks will be served on board before return to your resort in the afternoon.

Today's adventure commences at Decalachao, situated north of Busuanga Airport. Board your mountain bike and head south, traversing undulating roads before embarking on single tracks leading to San Nicolas, located north of Corn Town. About five minutes into the single track, a river crossing presents a challenge, especially during the dry season. Here, we take a brief snack break and discuss our pace for the upcoming 12 kilometers of biking, which ranges from easy to moderate difficulty across tree-studded plains, culminating at the bridge crossing the river bordering San Nicolas. From San Nicolas, pedal 10 kilometers to Guadalupe to explore local villages before cruising into Coron Town to conclude the ride and return to your resort.
