This 8-day Bali vacation transports you to the island paradise of Bali, where you’ll stay in luxuy resorts in Ubud and Uluwatu.
Bali is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, famous for its verdant jungle, relaxing beaches, and incredible surfing. Your Indonesia vacation begins in Ubud, where you’ll stay at a 5-star resort that’s perfect for romantic getaways or luxury family stays in the tropics. Set amidst Balinese rice fields and rainforest, Ubud provides an authentic Balinese experience in the jungle.
During your time in Ubud, you’ll head on a sunrise trek to summit the tallest peak in Bali, Batur Volcano. You’ll also embark on a bicycle ride through the nearby rural villages, enjoying a glimpse into the daily lives of Balinese people. The rest of your time in Ubud is at leisure. You can head outside the resort to go on a shopping spree in the main streets of Ubud or relax in the warm waters of the resort's pools.
You’ll continue your Bali vacation by connecting to Uluwatu, located on the island’s southwestern tip and one of the top surfing destinations in the world. Day 1: Arrive in Ubud

Day 2: Day at Leisure in Ubud
Day 3: Sunrise Trekking on Batur Volcano
Trek up the highest peak of Bali s sacred mountain and witness a
glorious sunrise over a volcanic crater.
Rise early and depart from your hotel to reach the base of Mount Batur. Your guide will welcome you and provide necessary equipment, followed by a thorough safety briefing. With flashlights in hand, make your way through the cool, dark morning, ascending uphill through volcanic ash, sand, and small rocks. As you continue to climb, the terrain becomes windswept with fewer rocks and vegetation. Reach the top of the crater and relax with a simple breakfast, taking in the stunning morning views of Mount Abang and Mount Agung. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Lombok's Mount Rinjani in the distance across the Lombok Strait. After witnessing the sunrise, walk to another crater rim before descending along the same path you climbed, this time being able to appreciate the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Batur. You may even see some of the lava flows and the destruction they left behind from the most recent eruption. At the bottom, take a well-deserved dip in a hot spring before returning to your hotel.
Day 4: Bali Cycling Through Rural Villages with Lunch
Combine gentle exercise with stunning scenery for a fun and exciting way to see Bali, off the beaten track. You will be transferred from your hotel to the small village of Luwus where you will meet your specialist guide. After a quick safety briefing, hop on your bicycle and set off on a leisurely ride through the beautiful Balinese countryside. Cycle along quiet countryside roads and small pathways only a bicycle can access. Pass through rural villages and rice paddies, where you can see farmers at work in the fields, women going about their daily chores, and locals walking along the roadside. There are plenty of stops along the way for photos and for a well-earned drink of fresh young coconut. The ride ends in a beautiful location where you can enjoy the views over the lush rice fields while tucking into a picnic lunch.
Day 5: Travel from Ubud to Sanur

Day 6: Half Day Cliff Temple, Fire Dance and Beach Dinner

This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape of rugged limestone cliffs and world-renowned surf breaks that is unlike any other on the island. At the southwestern tip of the peninsula, perched on a cliff 70 meters above the Indian Ocean and offering stunning views, is the incredible Uluwatu Temple. The Kecak Dance performance at Uluwatu Temple is a traditional Balinese dance that involves a group of men chanting "cak" in a rhythmic and hypnotic way, while dancers in elaborate costumes tell the story of the Ramayana, creating a captivating and unforgettable experience against the backdrop of the temple and the sunset. The tour ends with a incredible Seafood dinner, served on the beach before returning to your hotel.
